In Uganda, the best places to consider visiting for chimpanzee tracking include Kibale Forest National Park, Budongo Forest, Kalinzu Forest, Kyambura Gorge, Toro-Semuliki Wildlife Reserve. The rates for chimpanzee tracking permits vary depending on the destination. In Kibale Forest National Park, they are obtainable at US Dollars 200 for foreign non-residents, $150 for foreign residents and shs 150000 for East Africa Community citizens. In Kyambura Gorge, chimpanzee tracking permits cost 50 US Dollars for both non-foreign residents and foreign residents, shs 30,000.
